Jan 16 – 5 p.m. - Troop departs GUMP
7 p.m. - Troop arrives Camp Wilkes
10 p.m. – Troop Taps, LIGHTS OUT!
Jan 17 - 7 a.m. – Troop Reveille
7 a.m. – Pack departs GUMP
7:30 a.m. – Troop Breakfast in dining hall
9 a.m. – Pack arrives Camp Wilkes
10 a.m. – Opening ceremony
10:15 a.m. – Patrol assignments
10:30 a.m. – Patrol Activities begin
1 p.m. – Brown Bag lunches
1:45 p.m. – Patrol Activities resume
5 p.m. – Supper in dining hall
6 – 7 p.m. – Free time
7 p.m. – Campfire Ceremony
9 – 11 pm – Capture the Flag
11 p.m. – Taps, LIGHTS OUT!
Jan 18 - 7 a.m. – Reveille
7:30 a.m. – Breakfast in dining hall
8:30 a.m. – Leave No Trace Introduction
9 a.m. - Camp ground clean-up
9:30 a.m. – Lodge clean-up
10:00 a.m. – Closing Ceremony
11 a.m. – Depart Camp Wilkes
1 p.m. – Arrive GUMP
WHAT TO BRING
* Class A Uniform (Neckerchief not required)
o Worn for Opening/Closing Ceremony, Evening Meal, and Campfire Ceremony
* Class B Uniform (Troop, Pack, or Scouting t-shirt)
o Worn during Patrol Activities and Freetime
* Sleeping Bag and pillow
* Personal Hygeine Supplies
* Medications (Given to Cubmaster/Scoutmaster upon arrival)
* Snacks – In resealable bags
* Flashlight
* Closed toe shoes (no open toes during activities)
* Insect Spray
* Sunscreen (SPF 15 or above)
* Extra pair of shoes and socks
* Hat
* A good attitude
WHAT NOT TO BRING
* Currency or valuables
* Video games, MP3 players, DVD players
* Cell Phones (Adults = Yes, Scouts = No)
* Knives (Unless Scout has a valid Whittling Chit)
* Matches, Lighters
* Laser pointers
* Alcohol Forbidden during All BSA campouts
* A bad attitude
